梁銘源先生 Mr. Simon LEUNG, born in 1948, married with two grown-up daughters, looks back at some 30 years of banking, and over a decade with Deutsche Bank, where he played a pivotal role in cleaning up the mess left behind by its ill fated offshoot European Asian Bank in Hong Kong, and subsequently supervised Deutsche’s lending activities in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.
Although Mr. Leung took up full British citizenship offered to a hand-picked 50,000 of our local elite in the final days of colonial rule, he was born and bred in Hong Kong, has many good friends in China, and sits on the Board of several PRC backed publicly listed as well as private companies here.
Simon Leung and Dr. Thomas first met, when the latter became General Manager of Deutsche Bank, Hong Kong in 2/1989. Their subsequent friendship resulted in the formation of Deutsche Consult, and it is only fair to say that without Mr. Leung our Company would not be what it is today.
